Vietnamese born Huong Vu was raised by parents owning a clothing boutique in Hanoi; an ancient city where royal families used only silk fabrics ornated with silk hand-stitched embroidery. Huong spent most of her younger years assisting her family, but that was over ten years ago. Since that time Huong has received a Bachelor of Arts in Vietnam and has been able to travel around the world. In her travels she has been able to view all world fashion styles, taking some to fuse with her own as she went.
Today Huong Vu is living in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. She is designing fashion - pulling inspiration from her beautiful surroundings … and fusing those emotions with her designer roots from Vietnam.
